Hola Readers! And when I saw Readers I mean Reader. Laura, I do not know why you insist that I blog when I tell you everything anyway! You're just going to read through the conversation that we just had about an hour ago at Chumley's (my favorite bar).
Just for your info.. I'm not in a BAD mood.. just a tired, cranky mood.
Here are my plans for the week.. tomorrow I have a philosophy test. (Kill me) Then it's Fat Tuesday (Bring me back to life!)! Then I have to work ALL Wednesday (Kill me). Then Jessica and I will spend some time together (Bring me back to life). Then Thursday I have a German project (Kill me). And will go out to the Cactus with Spageddies people that nite (Bring me back to life). I will subsequently feel dead when I wake up Friday morning with a hangover and stay that way while I babysit Friday evening. However, I will bring myself back to life on Saturday to spend time with Jess and perhaps do NOTHING Saturday night.
Jess and I have been using up my movie gift certificates. We've seen Yours, Mine, and Ours - the new version (go see it!), Pink Panther - with Steve Martin (go see it!), Narnia (go see it!), and Date Movie (DO NOT SEE IT! ESPECIALLY WITH AN 11 YEAR OLD! STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE!). I think we're going to start saving up to go to Build-a-Bear and I want to take her to Wicked, the musical.
Yay! Lent is almost here! I love Lent. I'm giving up some stupid little things that I hope will help me bring God into my thoughts while I am idle. Lent makes me proud to be Catholic. We give up things for God. We push ourselves to answer God's desires, not our own. Something that is rarely valued in our society. . I love Lent and I love being Catholic.
Oh! Someone (Laura) remind me to go to 7am mass on Wednesday because I don't have any other time to go. And everyone who reads this (Laura), pray for Jessica. I think she is getting better but still having a rough time. I wish I felt like I could bring God into her life. I guess I'm just going to have to do it indirectly.
Okay, that's all I got. Goodnight.
